The Social Justice Committee (SJC) is a standing committee tasked with advancing UUCM’s social justice advocacy. It supports multiple task forces dedicated to specific issues. One long-standing task force at UUCM is: Feed Our Hungry Neighbors (FOHN). Contact the social justice committee to learn more about established and emerging task forces.

Dedicated Offerings

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Muncie collects a Dedicated Offering every week during the worship service as a way of putting our faith into action and promoting social justice locally and around the world. 

If you would like to make a contribution to the month’s Dedicated Offering recipient, send a check made payable to Unitarian Universalist Church of Muncie and write the name of the month’s recipient organization on the memo line.  Please mail it before the end of the month to the church office at 4800 West Bradford Drive, Muncie, IN 47304, to ensure that it becomes part of the special collection.

Dedicated Offerings are managed by the minister and a congregant.  Any member or friend of the Church may nominate a project or organization for a month’s dedicated offering by completing and sending in the nomination form to uucm@uuchurchmuncie.org.
