2017 Bazaar Quilt ~ “Hidden Circles”
Circles, magical to people since primeval times. Circles of stone columns topped with stone mantles; circles of tepee floors; circles of worshippers around fires; circles of dancers; circles very visible, but so long present they escape awareness. Brightly colored triangles form circles throughout this year’s quilt. Hand quilted circles of various sizes are scattered around. They become more visible as one searches with determination.
Dedicated quilters who created this masterpiece of circling beauty are: Nan Barber, Elsbeth Fritz, Beth Gonser, Holly Hanauer, Linda Hanson, Cheryl LeBlanc and Cindi Marini.
