"Our Shared Calling: The Whole Ministry of the Church" - Julia Hemeyer, Guest Speaker. The word "Minister" tends to summon the image of someone in a pulpit, but the work of the church goes beyond our walls. Part of Rev. Perchlik's ministry is outside the church, but some UU Ministers serve in a community centered ministry as Chaplains, Community Organizers, Pastoral Counselors and such. Julia Corbett Hemeyer helps us consider "what is the community ministry of our church, and what could it be?" We also honor long-standing members of this church on our annual Heritage Sunday, and welcome new members.
