"Green and Gold: Sympathetic Joy" - Rev. Thomas Perchlik. With special music by our Choir, today we explore the ideas of envy and sympathetic joy. Do you feel jealous when someone else wins the lottery? Do you feel cheated when you see someone else has a better job, or house, or more money than you? Are you golden when others are happy, or is your life tinged with the green of envy?

Markie Oliver, Worship Associate.

Music:
Prelude: Edvard Grieg, "Clanging Bells" (excerpt)
Musical Interlude: Edvard Grieg, "Clanging Bells" (excerpt)
Offertory: Helton, arr., "Morning Has Broken"
Choral Anthem: Miller and Jackson, arr. Hawley Ames, "Let There Be Peace on Earth"
UU Choir under the direction of Hal Caldwell; Jim Helton, piano
