"Kuan Yin: Buddhism with a Feminine Face"

On this morning we’ll be focusing on Kuan Yin, the Mahayana Buddhist "Goddess of Mercy." Through story and word pictures we will explore how this Bodhisattva (savior being) evolved into an "Oriental Virgin Mary" in popular Buddhism – as one author rather crassly, but perhaps somewhat accurately, stated it!
